Kaelynn has been interested in photography since she was a little girl, following photo challenges on social media and constantly watching her Mother and Grandfather take pictures of family. Later in life, Kaelynn looked back at those family pictures and videos, and realized how capturing those moments was so important, to reflect on the good times, as life changes.
This year, Kaelynn graduated from Chapin High School as a 5.0 GPA Honors Student all while balancing starting her new business. Check out Kaelynn's experience below and support her on her entrepreneurial journey!

Sophomore Year
2024-2025
Junior Year
Kaelynn did entry level photography classes, Photo 1 and Photo 2, to see if photography would be a career path for her. Kaelynn enjoyed those classes enough, to take it up to the next level the following year! Experience gained included: Basic of Composition & Lighting, and Adobe Photoshop Editing.
Kaelynn was able to jump over Honors Photography and be placed straight into a college level course that focused on photography, AP 2D Design. She was one of only two Juniors placed at that advanced level of the program at Chapin High. All others were Seniors. In this program, Kaelynn explored the importance of nostalgia & the different ways nostalgia is expressed through photography. Kaelynn spent many hours during lunch break, and after hours putting in extra hours outside of class with her teacher, Ms. Brown, to continue her knowledge in photography that much further. Kaelynn was also nominated for Student of the Month by Ms. Brown with a wonderful testimonial of Kaelynn's growth in her class! See her testimonial below.

2025-2026
Senior Year
Kaelynn continued learning more photography skills through an internship program through Chapin High School, her Senior year.
October of her Senior year, Kaelynn officially started her business Kaelynn Alaina Photography and started getting booked by clients regularly as well as hosting seasonal mini sessions.
In December of her Senior year, Kaelynn took on a big project for Chapin Christian Gymnastics by taking their team photos. This project alone gave Kaelynn over 200 hours of work/ experience in the field!
In May of 2026 Kaelynn graduated High School as a 5.0 GPA Honors Student and looks forward to continuing her passion of photography and capturing moments for her clients that last a lifetime.
